I visited one of the other op shops in town today. To my absolute joy there was a box of patterns. I started to flick through and found a baby layette pattern. Yay! Kept flicking. Children's clothes. And then they just kept on coming! I bought 20 patterns for $8 - most of them from the mid 70's but one from 1960 and one from 1982. Here are my favourites......

LOVE those coats. That is the kind of pattern stash/opshop find that sets my heart racing - Yay for you!
That is truly a great find!!! Dont you love it when that happens. I went into my local op shop a few weeks back and saw this big box of sewing patterns - I got just a little excited and made a bee line to the box, only to be majorly disappointed, it was full of really hideous 80s adults patterns....and I mean REALLY hideous.
I've been looking for months and months for some decent kids patterns - my mum too in various op shops. Apparently these only arrived the previous day - it really is the luck of the draw and as my mum says, 'The quick and the dead'!
